Giving back to business

From winner to sponsor

Having won our first ever award at the Chamber of Commerce Northern Territory Export Business Awards back in 2019, we were thrilled to return as sponsor of the 'Outstanding New Start Up' category this year.

Back in 2019 Rise had only been in business for 18 months, and we were still trying to figure out who we were and what our value was; then we won the Innovation Award. Steve came back to the table, grinning and said, "Wow, apparently I'm an innovator; I thought I was just a carpenter with a drone!"

The award gave us confidence, validation, and self-belief and set us on a path to build a business we never could have dreamed of.

Congratulations to Tristan’s Animal Services (East Arnhem) for taking out the NT win on Friday, and to all the regional finalists: EcoMob (Greater Darwin); Villafloors Art (Central); Uconnect Coordination (Katherine and Big Rivers); Blue Whale Solutions (Barkly)

We wish you all the best for the future

We are so proud to have our investment into the development of a tropical bathymetric USV (unmanned service vehicle) secure matched funding from Advanced Manufacturing Growth Centre Ltd. Current wastewater survey methods are often not fit-for-purpose for the waste water conditions in tropical Northern Australia - high debris loads and organic matter.
